why does a vob file be added to my photostory when i make a dvd disk

on making a dvd from photo story it includes a vob file from another earler dvd done. it also comes up with a page which says vts/0 1.vob should the listing file be used for the film (names the file) previous dvd made. also at the bottom it says in boxes encode all encode use use all and cancel.

I have looked for this vob file and unable to find it. What can do I do.

 

I made mepeg 4 files from your rescue your video tapes program these are ok.

Hi

VOB is the standard file format for DVD, it is a subset of the mpg codec.

Always select Encode all and check the two menu option checkboxes to ensure any changes made in the project are committed to the disk, without doing so the changes will not be applied, in your case it is re-using the VOB file from a previous project.
