Why can't I burn an edited photostory?

I decided I wanted to make some changes to a photo story after I'd burned it to DVD, so I made the changes and saved them. The Photo Story played fine on the Magix screen, but the old version burned to DVD. What can be done, other than redoing the entire slide show and giving it a different name?

When you want to burn your changed photostory you need to overwrite the old mpg-file before.
When starting the burning-process, the burning section ask you if you want to overwrite the old file, you have to say yes.
It takes a long while again, because the programm needs to resample the whole photostory before burning.
After that you get the new file on your dvd.
Have fun.

I got the answer to my question by accident when looking for something else in the manual. To override the unedited slideshow, I need to click on "encode" or "encode all" before starting the new burn. It's the last window with choices before the burning process starts.
