Why can I only save my music as an vip file? (samplitude 11 silver) How do I save it as a mp3 file? Really need help :-(

My problem is that I can't save my projcets in nothing else than in (*.vip) file. A have a program on my computer that converts (*.wav) wave files into mp3 files. And that would have been great if I just got to save my songs and music like a wav file, but that doesn't work, even though it says at the 'track options' that it is/gonna be a wave file... If it would work I would be able to make that wave file to a mp3 file through that program (the convert program). It's so frustrating that I can't open my projects in any other program then in Samplitude 11 pro (wich is the program I use for making music) I can't listen to it in any other way than through Samplitude on my computer. I cant even upload it to youtube i think. (I haven't tried, but i guess so) I have Windows 7 I don't really know what my version number is, If I knew where to fint it I would know it. You can contact me on m-andersson97@hotmail.se, Maybe put a swedish worker who can help me. In that way we all would understand everything much better! I really hope for help. I dont want the (*.vip) files. I would rather want the (*.wav) file. But most of all I would love to just save projects as mp3 files right away!! That would lift a stone from my heart. 'Cause I love this program, I just can't use it because of this (I hope) TINY problem. HELP ME! :-(

It´s quite easy. The only thing you have to do is open the dialogue /file/ and choose /export audio/ and then you will see all the formats you have for export the entire project or just one of the track, that is up to you.

I hope it helps.

Hmm, this sounds rather suspect: Samplitude 11 Pro is hardly the "Toy Soldier" version of the Magix line of DAWS. However it is the very little brother (or child) of Sequoia... I'm merely rambling and name-throwing because not just ANYONE decides to use Samplitude 11 Pro to actually MAKE MUSIC (as in making use of multiple tracks, etc. including importing audio files where applicable and NOT know how to

File > Export {Desired Output Audio Format}

or the old classic Tools > Track Bouncing... >

[SET] Format: (I.e. Wave, Sample Rate, Bit Rate or MP3, AIFF...)

[SET] Source: (I.e. From VIP Start to Last Object End...)

[SET] Generating Options: (I.e. Only a Wave Project)

....other Options/Effects including Dithering Options...and then churn out the audio format from the associated file arrangement in the project (.vip)

It just sounds a bit strange that one makes music in a easy-to-use but complex DAW and totally miss the Export purpose. Saving does as it does in nearly every program developed: They only SAVE or SAVE AS... the project in its native format and any information associated that may be linked or embedded.

Conversion in the mighty Samplitude 11 Pro (of all versions--go figure!!!) can be done via batch processing. If you are using Windows 7 you may need to take an even easier approach and use the Windows Media Player or VLC Player (to convert files to MP3's!) Sorry, there is no pun intended but this just does not sound right, maybe if you were speaking music maker or Magix normal computer store music products I would get it, but the Sam 11 Pro is throwing me way off...sounds like an un-official download kind of thing to me...even stated (samplitude 11 silver "as if"...and email inside forum...I'm just saying!) #MySpideySensesAreTingling correct me if I am wrong...but it's obvious you need help!!!

Are you actually making music (I.e. recording raw wave files? using in ASIO mode with MIDI recorded VST Instruments? using multiple tracks or simply importing 2-track files? Um....like what are you doing?
