Sorry, I am trying to figure out how to operate the program, I just bought it. It is NOT user friendly, very hard! The "help" videos are terrible and the manual is so technical. Wish I never wasted my money on it. Even though I couldn't help you I thought the previous answer was stupid! "Uninstall and re-install"! I wish I could uninstall my purchase! Why isn't there a user friendly, easy to understand movie editing software out there??

I eventually found what the cause of the problem is ! :)

The 'black screen' was in fact introduced when copy/pasting video 'fragments' for creating some "chapters" (or movies) from one single vhs tape.
Of course, this must be adressed with the 'timeline' view.

I can agree that this software requires some experiments to be mastered even if it works ...
