what video file types can be imported into Magix Video Pro X ?

I am using Magix Video Pro X on Windows & 64 bit. I have downloaded video which is flv. format. I need to join these videos using Magix but I cannot seem to see the files to import. Please assist and tell me if I can import flv files into my Magix project.

VPX does not support FLV file import or export.

You need to use a video converter to change the file to another compatible format

There are many free video converters on the Internet of variable quality.

I use Nero Recode which is part of the Nero suite or AVS Video Converter and get excellent results, however neither are free .

In addition to waht John has suggested the free Freemake Video Convertor will also convert .flv to a VPX compatible format.
