I have been using and paying for Web Designer Premium/365 for many years. I would like to ask somebody what to expect in 2021, and:

a) What would happen if I did not subscribe for another year.... will I have full access to what I've already paid for?

b) I have not seen any serious efforts to update the software and include new templates for a couple of years. I'm OK with using what I have now, but I'd like some simple clarifications and future projections that are not found on any support pages. It feels like XARA/MAGIX may be phasing out Web Designer Premium/365?

In a nutshell, after the Update Service period ends and you do not renew:

  1. the program continues to work
  2. you get no further updates to the program
  3. there is no access to the Online Catalog, meaning features that are in the website(s) you have built remain, however you cannot add any new feature from the catalogue.

This is the second thread to which you have posted a similar message.

Are you here simply to rant, or are you genuinely seeking help? If it is the former, your presence is not welcome; if it is the latter, you are more than welcome but please tell us, fellow-users, about the exact product you have, details about your computer and precisely what problems you are experiencing.

Magix Support is NOT the easiest to navigate but it is definitely available, via a ticket system. Like many software companies now, Magix does not offer telephone support.

I've tried several times to find a number to contact tech support. I purchased the Acid Pro10 software in october of 2017. I had to reconfigure my computer back to factory settings and lost all my downloads. I have my serial number from when I purchased the software and I have gone through the steps on the Magix website to redownload the product I purchased, but it just gives me the manual and not the actual software I already paid for. I sent tech support an email in january and have had no response. Can anyone help me?

@Martin-Rosas ACID Pro 10 was released in February 2020, not 2017. So you likely need to download a much earlier version.

You can get all your registered products in your user account at https://www.magix.com/int/support/my-service-center/

After you downloaded and installed the program you can download the loops and instruments through the help menu.

I am very disappointed with this company MAGIX which do not have a functional direct customer service telephone number in the USA which I can call for technical support.

As a videographer, this is very frustrating when I need assisting during my video editing process. Give me some answers or feed back as to my request. Removed by Moderator.

i have been a loyal customer of magix products and have bought every version since 2012. It use to have customer service but no more it would seem.

looks like a great product became crap.

Customer service and Support are still avaialble, however not in the form not in the form of telephone support which is not an efficient and productive method.

Support for technical issues is by ticketing system - see the Support link at the top of every forum page, which means all issues get logged assigned to the correct support department and is a fair system to all users.

It's impossible to get any real support. I couldn't change my payment method on Vegas Pro 18. Then I was told just to renew. But I cannot. Then I downloaded the Vegas Pro 19 trial version. But, there is no regular video stabilization available in the trial version. All I wanted to know was if it was available once you purchase the 365 version. I can not get a straight answer. Great products terrible US support. LOL.

Oh my goodness!~ My computer was experiencing a lag the night I purchased Magix Photostory Deluxe 2022 to upgrade the Photostory I already owned. I didn't want my card info sitting on my desktop while the "working on it" little circle just kept spinning and spinning, so I closed everything out, opened it again and did it once more. (No, I did not use the "back" arrow, that's just dumb...) Well, no matter how I did it, I managed to purchase this product twice, and this morning there are two charges pending to my credit card. :-( I simply want to speak to a human, and request that one of those charges be reversed. Clearly, the purchases were the same night, within moments one of another. I guess I'm old school, but I am not used to (or comfortable with) posting these kinds of inquiries on a forum such as this. I cannot find an alternate contact option. And, no telephone support.

Send an email to infoservice@magix.net and inform them of what has happened and request a refund for the second purchase. Expect a response within 2 - 3 days.
