What Files should I be seeing when instaling packs to Music Maker

Ok, Ive got music Maker 15 and to be honest am very close to giving up with it. Ive downloaded the files in order and installed and then opened the programme but it has like 4 soundpools sitting there. 3 of which are empty and one called hip hop with just drums. So I go to add styles and then select magix music maker file location, click open and nothing happens. So I have done what people seem to suggest and thats delete it all and start again. Ive done that whole process 3 times, including downloading all the packs again and again. Dont you think its quite crappy for a software to be like this? Anyway my question is......

Once all the files are supposedly installed "correctly" if someone has managed that here, what should it look like in the sound pool? Surely there is a whole bunch of sounds. What the hell am I doing wrong.

First of all, are you talking about the MM-15 Basic Version or the MM-15 Premium download?

If you are referring to the MM-15 Premium download, we understand your frustration.  It is apparently a VERY common problem.  People would be much better off buying the boxed (Basic) version and then upgrade to Premium.

However, in an email I received today, it seems they now have a boxed version of MM-15 Premium, although it is not offered on their website.

These are the soundpools for the MM-15 Basic Edition:

Ambient Vol. 7
Chillout Vol. 3
Disco House Vol. 9
HipHop Vol. 10
Rock Alternative Vol.1
Techno Trance Vol.11

These are the soundpools added with the MM-15 Preminum upgrade:

Flamenco Rhumba Vol. 1
Latin Vol. 3 100 BPM
Minimal Electro Vol. 7
Movie Score Vol. 6
RnB Soul Vol.2

--------------

If you are sure the program is correctly installed, you need to verify that ALL of the media content is also installed on your hard drive.

If it is, you should be able to get a clean loading of the soundpools in the manner described in other postings.  Delete the existing soundpools and reload them using the "Add styles" link in the program.  In the Flie Manager, you need to make sure you open the "Basics_15" folder and not the main Music Maker 15 folder.  It SHOULD work.

If not, you will need to CALL tech support.  I know it's a pain, but the alternative is to to throw it in the trash and chalk it up to experience.
