webdesigner17premium_dlm_762T4.exe will not install

My Computer - Windows 10 - 64bit machine with plenty of storage and 64Gb of RAM. I have downloaded the program from the email and magix's My Products page with the same results - ran normal and as administrator same results.

the program starts as shown in photo but proceeds no further. Unable to complete install - must end the program with the Task Manager. Suggestions to make the install work?

Hi

Check that your Antivirus is not blocking the installer writing to the C: drive - the feature in AV that could be doing this is referred to as Ransomware, Folder protection or similar.

I am using Webroot and did turn it off while trying to install - along with the firewall, web shield. and realtime shield

Still stuck in the 100% Extracting - Starting installation mode

Is there a regular zip file anywhere I could download, instead of the self extracting .exe file

I downloaded the file from My Products page and renamed the last letter to A so not to ovewrite the original - Looks like the file is corrupt - I looked at another file I downloaded from Magix that was an self extracting zip exe

I downloaded the Trial Version as well - same results

Opened in Win RAR to see files this is the error message I got from the file with issues

Hi

. . . . Looks like the file is corrupt . . . .

I would suggest you contact Magix Support through the Support link at the top of the page - see here on how to navigate through the Support system.

I have submitted a ticket - but no results yet. Does anyone have installation files that work they would be willing to share so I can get up and running until they get the bug fixed?
