how do i delete parts of my vocals that dont need to be inthe music

Are the vocals on a separate track from the rest of the music?
If the vocals are in the same file/object as the music, you can't delete just the vocals. There is a way but it is complicated and any other sounds in the same frequencies will also be removed. The result is not very good.

The vocals are on the same track and in the middle of the verse/vocals there's a line like it ddnt record but it did
I even listened to it and I'm using magix music 2015 premium
