View Screen is Gray

I have just upgraded to Photostory 2020. My project imports fine and I can see all my photos and titles in the timeline. However, when I play the slideshow, it is all gray. I can hear the music and the slideshow moves along the timeline, but I cannot view any of the photos or titles.

I am using an HP desktop with Windows 7. Do I perhaps need a driver update?

@Teresa-Hoffman

Welcome to the Magix user to user forums.

Can you tell us the exact version number of Photostory you have, please? You can check under Help>About MAGIX Photostory. The current latest is 20.0.1.56; although the version number is 20, this is actually "Photostory Deluxe 2021". You say you have just upgraded to PS 2020 but I wonder whether you actually now have "PS 2021"? If so, you need to be aware that it requires either Win 8 or Win 10, according to this page. I honestly can't remember if "PS 2020" also required this.

Rather than a driver update I suspect you may well need an OS update!

I have Magix Photostory Deluxe Version 20.1.56 (UDP3). Thanks for the info, I'll try this version on a laptop with Win 10.
