VidPro X7 keeps freezing on high spec machine - other Apps are fine - any ideas?

High spec machine, i7 16GB RAM SSDs and Win10. However Video Pro X7 keeps freezing - in all operations, playback, edit, scroll, load, export - the works! Has anyone ideas why this might be?

I have it networked and wondered if that would affect it, but all other apps, graphic edit etc. see quite happy.

I'd love some ideas if you've come across this before.

Can you clarify what you mean by this and give more details including which drive Windows and  VPX 7 are installed on, network speed, power settings for the network card, type and model of external storage devices if used?

Where are the data files (video/images/audio) stored?
