Video very choppy once added to Magix 15 Pro

I am using Magix Movie Edit Pro 15 Plus. My computer is a dual core pentium T4200 running at 2ghz, and I am using a GoPro HD helmet camera filming in 720p at 60 frames per second, recording in MP4 format.

I have uploaded the videos to my computer, and when I watch them in Windows media player they look fantastic and don't skip a beat.  Now when I move them into the Movie Edit Pro 15, it first tells me that it needs to be converted down to MP2, and then when I watch the video, it is extremely choppy and slow.  Am I doing something wrong?  Everything is fine in windows media player, but this Magix software can't seem to keep up with the video?

Any help to get the video running smoothly would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Matt

Hi
There is a difference between Media Player and a Video Editor. The Editor has much more work with the same file! Your Hardeware is much to slow to work with MP4 Files. My be it is to slow for MPEG2 too.
