I can transfer VHS cassette to computer but after editing the file it takes many hours to move it to disc in WMV mode! 1,5 hour cassette takes about 8 hours! I do not understand why? I will appreciate all tips!
Ok, I change my question. What is an estimated time to convert 1.5 hour file to WMV mode to disc? On the other hand it does not matter if it takes many hours, I can do it background and during night time but I am keen to know!
Basically you have asked a 'How long is a piece of string? question. It mainly comes down to the power of your computer or laptop. With a modern high end computer with the correct hardware for the program I would think at those resolutions it could be done in less time than the length of the video but your CPU clock speed I think is the limiting factor here but there may be other factors such as the CPU throttling back due to the system overheating. Basically it is what it is. None of use here would get similar times due to our computers being of different specifications. I started my video editing with a PC that would have taken double that amount of time you are experiencing but eventually found I had to upgrade if I wanted better performance.
. . . . What is an estimated time to convert 1.5 hour file to WMV mode to disc? . . . .
Changing the question does not alter the fact that we still need to know which processor is in your laptop.

If you do not want to give us that information that is OK, however you will get the simple answer - 'we do not know'.
