video pro x6 and blackmagic decklink mini monitor

Hi, I've just installed the Blackmagic Decklink Mini Monitor. It outputs an SDI signal to a Flanders BM210 Monitor.

The Video Pro X6 Timeline is set to 1080p23.976. And so is the Mini Monitor. The Monitor is registering a 1080p23.976 signal, BUT image is scaled down to a small size in the middle of the native 1920 x 1080 screen.

I've spoken with the Flanders people and they assure me the monitor is set up and connected correctly.

The Blackmagic website says the drivers are up to date.

In VPX6, 'Decklink Mini Monitor' appears in the 'Video output to external device' and 'Video output activated' is checked.

Anybody have any ideas?

Hi Seamus,

I didn't find anything to help in VPX6, but I think that VPX7 does handle BlackMagic Decklink. You might want to test the trial version.

Thanks John,

Ralf from support told me to uncheck the LIGHTNING ICON under the software preview monitor. I did that and the Flanders monitor filled out lovely.

All working well now!
