Video Pro X, like MEP 2016. Can't make a single dvd with high quality sd files type 1920 x 1080

Trying to use the multi-cam feature to get this done quickly, even thou real time. My monitor disappeared after a short time and had to rely on the little screen who's frame turns red. Magix says everything is sucessful after burn and I believe it actually plays it back on my Nero dvd player, but when it goes to the old player I use to test on I get error after the DVD sign shows up. I've been at this for a month and I have a project people have paid for. Is there a way that my player or old school can see the dvd's as it should or should I just bump it up to blue ray,  which I have never done and have a short stack. I've borrowed a multi-copier when I get the Act 1 and Act 2 disks to work. my framerate is 29.97 with aspect of 16.9. If I just burn it again with image turned on can you suggest a program that could be simply dialed in to dvd from any big res..But I don't want to lose my crisp picture quality. Also I have tried to bring in a title frame in its own track, but it wont appear on my master screen. Even in solo mode. Thanks and I'll keep tryin here to make it all work.

PS each act is on one sd file so two files for each act. (two cams) Canon r30 and r50 which arn't the best with low light.

Thanks in advance.

Hi

. . . . Can't make a single dvd with high quality sd files type 1920 x 1080 . . . .

DVD by definition and standard is 720 x 576 (PAL) or 720 x 480 (NTSC) so there is no way you can make a standard DVD discs at 1920 x 1080 resolution.

If you want 1920 x 1080 then you have to make a Blu-ray disc.

. . . . . I've borrowed a multi-copier . . . .

If this is standard CD/DVD duplicator then you will not be able to copy Blu-ray - you will need one which is capable of copying Blu-ray.

MEP or VPX will do this from an HD project using the Burn >  DVD option but you will lose quality of course. The only option to avoid loss is to Burn an AVCHD DVD disc which will only last 30mins and only play back in a Bluray player
