Hi,

As long the same version is concerned update is free.

If you buy today and in 6 month a new version is released that we call an upgrade your change the version number you have to pay, normally you have a special price by email for the early bird a special discount to promote the new version.

Download the evaluation software and test it. That is the best way to evaluate the product and your machine.

Video Easy is a basic video capture/editor software - you would be better off using Movie Edit Pro 2013 - download the trial version and test it - if you decide to purchase get the premium version, a number of the most popular video format licences (except DVC) are included.
