Video clips

I have a video that is an hour long and I just want to get a clip from the movie to put into a slide show. I have the file and it displays in the timeline but I cannot figure out how to get the clip and save it. Is there a tutorial or a simple way to do this?

One way is to find your clip, and Delete the rest of movie, by marking it and press Del. Then save it with a new name. (Don't be afraid, the original movie will not be disturbed). Then move the clip with the mouse to the start of Timeline and Export it (File > Export movie) and choose an appropriate file format. (MPG, WMV, --).
Another way could be to Copy the clip to a new Timeline and Export in the same way.

Look for what you want to show/export out of the long video. And trim the stuff that you don't want. You just press "T" for trim (assuming that you are using Magix Movie Edit Pro 15) if not than look for the trim button and you will be on your way!
