Vegas Pro 17

I cannot get V17 to open a project I was working on in V16 I get an error message about a music track not being available, which I can leave off line. The project the appears to upload all the remaining media and open then after a short while gives me a not responding notification. The file size is 5872kb and will still open fine in V16. What do I need to do to get up and running on this project in V17? Thanks in advance, Cheers, Barry
