Uploaded Web pages missing Navigation bar and Graphic

John-Peacock wrote on 2/23/2021, 9:08 AM

I have part completed a new website in Web Designer Pro and initially thigs seemed to work well. On later additions, to the design, including adding a Navigation Bar and graphic nothing shows on the top bar at all, it's blank. I have checked to ensure these items are at the front of the Top Bar but to no effect. Any suggestions much appreciated.

Hi

Did you ensure your browser cache has been cleared, or tried a forced reload Ctrl + F5 in the browser - you may need to do this several times?

Can you post the URL to the site.

What modifications did you make to the Navbar?

Thanks for the reply John EB. Yes I did clear the cache and then I tried deleting all the files and uploading again.

I used a stock Navbar which I downloaded from the resources gallery.

Thanks John P.

Edit: Thanks' for your interest but I have solved my problem. I had inadvertently put my top bar outside my webpage.

Hi John

There is a sticky element called 'Top' that is overlaying the navbar - if I disable it or push it to the back the navbar appears as shown below

There are 2 other issues

  1. the Navbar is not deep enough to ensure the word Hiking is visible
  2. there is a typo on the Acknowledgement link image.

Hi John EB

I'm OK now. Powerful S/W once you get to know it. Thanks for your comments.
