Update problem

Today I purchased the update to Photostory Deluxe.  After receiving the confirmation email of my purchase from Magix I clicked on the link to update Photostory.  It downloaded what I thought was an update and then said it wanted to remove the program from my computer.  Thinking it needed to let it uninstall the current version I had on my computer in order to do the update, I clicked continue and it removed my existing program.  I ran the "update" again and it seemed to simply re-install the version I had previously.  I still get the prompt at program startup that there are updates available and it takes me to the update service where it seems to simply ask me to pay for the update again.  I'm confused.  I have the confirmation email that shows I successfully paid for the update but it just seems like I am right back where I started.

@Bayman

Hi and welcome to the forum.

. . . . . I purchased the update to Photostory Deluxe. . . . . .

Do you mean you renewed the Update Service for another year?

If so this means you will continue to get upgrades and updates to a newer version and/or features, as they are released - new versions are usually released around August.

Well, like I said, when I run Photostory, I still get the prompt at program startup that there are updates available and it takes me to the update service where it seems to simply ask me to pay for the update again.
