Hi

Does it do this with every blank DVD you put in the burner or just one that you believe to be blank?

John

Every  one -  I know they are blank as they are all new i bought them Saturday

The H Drive is a DVD/CD Writer  I have  2 types of DVD's DVD-R  and DVD+R neither work.  I have tried C DR's as well as a test but no luck?  I know the CD bit worked as I have downloaded pics on.  Really frustrated thought this was just going to be a plug and play system.

Hi

That narrows down the problem significantly either

1.   As all discs are failing the writer is probably faulty.  Can you write to a DVD using another burning program - if you do not have one download Starburn (it is free) and try to burn a disc.

2.  A longer shot is that your computer (or the writer) is so new that the burn routines cannoct recognise it.
