Trying to make a nice power chord sound

I've been trying very hard for a very long time to make a nice power chord sound. The sound that I'm trying to achieve can be found at the end of this song: http://www.youtube.com/user/sasukeshika#p/u/14/8WVdYDMC04k If you could at least head me in the right direction, that would be nice. By the way, this guy uses MAGIX Music Maker 14, so I should be able to do it in MX Production Suite. Thanks for helping!

Can you play the guitar? That would help tremendously.

I didn't spend a lot of time reading everything this guy you referred to posted, but I get the feeling he may have used MMM to ""remix" other people's material.*  But, that does not necessarily mean that any of the sounds were "created" in MMM.  We'd need more evidence to come to that conclusion.

Since I don't have MM-MX Production Suite, I can only assume it also has Power Chords (distorted electric guitar) as an instrument in the Vita MIDI Editor.  If not, it probably has a distortion effect, and I know it has the Vandal SE amplifier emulation.  Have you tried any of these?  There are also many free VST effects available on the internet.

(*I'm astounded that Disney would allow him to post any part of their copyrighted material on Youtube.  They are well known to be ruthless about protecting their "property".)
