Travel Maps - Problems adding Photos to a Route

RGKTX wrote on 8/12/2019, 8:32 AM

I have been using Magix Travel Maps since it was introduced and have gone through an update. Prior to the update I had no problem importing photos into Travel Maps or placing them onto the route. I noted that in some posts that users were having adding photos in the Hong Kong area and parts of Asia. I had the same problem in creating a route in Vietnam. I got around the problem by creating by own map by including a screen capture from Google Maps as a .png file and create my route in that manner.

Since the update i cannot add a picture to the route. The program shows a little blue circle indicating it knows there is a location marker there but no longer provides an option to add the photo in the background.

One other problem I have noticed is that the import photo into Travel Maps does not import all of the photos that are selected. I select the photos from the Photostory Project folder and have noted that some photos will not import into Travel Maps. There does not seem to be a reason why some photos will import and others will not import.

As to the version that I am using, Magix does not follow the standard convention of showing the version of using Help About. If someone has an idea of where the build number is located that would be helpful.

Travel Maps is a very powerful and helpful program but some of the bugs are making them difficult to use.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

@RGKTX

There was an update to the update last week. For the version, open TM, look at the bottom right, click on About the program. The present version is 1.0.1.15.

I haven't had time to go through the list of previous problems, but I did notice that importing a gpx file works fine, but saving and reopening the project will no longer run the animation. Nothing happens. Same problem as before.

In the previous, previous version, there was always a problem with photos not loading in a reopened project. Problem is probably still there.
