The number of transactions is much higher in MMS compared to VPX16. Is this true or are there any extra shortcuts in VPX that display the other transactions?

The number of transitions can vary, both in type and category, depending on the previous version(s) install history.
Some transitions have been removed, and/or new ones added to a version over the years.
If you have installed all the Extra Content, then you will have what came with VPX 16, plus any that were installed with previous versions you had.
This does assume that the newer version replaced the previously installed version, and was not a first, or clean, install.
