Hi Robert,

Open your project, do a Save As and give the project a new name, like old_project Part 2. Delete the first part from the timeline, closing up the gap.

Open the first project, Save As, old_project Part 1. Delete the part that you are keeping for Part 2.

I suggest keeping the full original project in case you want to just export it to MP4.

There are other ways, but this one is simplest.
