Transfer my video to my pc

When I conect my camcorder to my pc. I press transfer. It shows that it transfer. When it is finish I press stop. When I press playback nothing has been transfered? I am using Rescue your video tapes 6 on a Windows 7 computer.

I can't say for sure for Rescue Your Videotapes as I don't have that program, but for other Magix editors like Movie Edit Pro you have to no only stop the transfer but also click on an 'OK' button.
