I bought it today.
After installing it asked me to upgrade. After that, it keeps freezing and do not respond to anything. I need to close it trough task manager.

@almog-almog You mean you tried to disable the text cursor indicator in the Windows accessibility settings?
If this doesn't work, at which point is the software freezing?
Yes this is what I tried. And it stops working randomly. About a minute after pressing some buttons.
@almog-almog This could be a driver problem. Make sure you have the following settings.
In the program settings select an ASIO driver. Music Maker comes with its own Music Maker ASIO driver in case you don't have an audio interface with ASIO drivers. Click on the Advanced button to open the driver settings. Select your input and output. Set a high buffer size, for example 2048 samples, this will reduce CPU load. If your computer can handle the load you can try to reduce the sample buffer to something like 512 samples.
