Synth Changes

So I have a synth pluggin I'm using in the MIDI editor.  Now my quesion is, I can drag out a note that I made in the synth (by just clicking and draging that box acorss a bunch of columns), and while that note is being played I can still change it in the synth.  For example, I have a 5 second long note and I let a note go for 2 seconds then turn up the pitch slowly in the synth for the last 3 seconds.  Is there anyway to record this change?  As far as I can tell when I change it then it changes it all across the board, I can't seem to find out how to record that change I'm making.

I have a few questions...

Are you playing the notes using a MIDI keyboard?  Is the Vita MIDI Editor in record mode when you're doing this?  How far are you bending notes?

If you are doing the above, are you stretching the notes out after they've been recorded?

There is a way to add pitchbend to a note manually after the fact, but only up to +/- one whole note/tone.

If it's possible to bend it farther, say a fourth, fifth, or an octave, I haven't figured that out yet.

I'm using the editor with a pluggin synth, not in record mode, just selecting it as my instrument and selecting notes for it..  The notes a pretty long and its not just pitch I'm changing, I'm changing the wave in the synth as it plays, I was just wondering if I could capture that.
