SSL Certificate

In 2020 I created two websites using Xara Web Designer Premium. Each have their own domain. Xara-online is my hosting service (Website M package). At the time a warning triangle appeared next to the URL in Google Chrome because the website did not have an SSL certificate. It was an http:// site instead of an https:// site. I thought I could live with that. However the latest version of Chrome refuses to show the website at all. What do I need to do to publish my website with an SSL certificate? Can it be done with Xara-online, or do I need to find a different hosting service?

HI

. . . . What do I need to do to publish my website with an SSL certificate? Can it be done with Xara-online, or do I need to find a different hosting service . . . .

SSL certification is the responsibility of the hosting provider - contact infoservice@magix net, however there is a Catch 22 situation:-

Magix no longer support /retail Xara products so they may refer you to Xara Support, however according to Xara support, as of the date of this comment, Magix are still responsible for Xara-Online.

HTH and please let us know what they say for future reference to other users in the same situation.
