Thank you for the details of your computer. However, we also need to know the type, size and current free space of your hard drive(s). Also, since your Ryzen CPU does not include integrated graphics (according to this page) which GPU do you have and are its drivers fully up to date? For the latter, don't depend on Windows Update to always show you the latest but rather go direct to the manufacturer's website to check.

When you say freezes, does it just freeze and the frees up after so many seconds?

Jeff - the GPU is the MSI rx6600 mech.
The chip is the AMD Radeon RX6600 and the specs I can find are somewhat meagre ie: in particular whether it supports OpenCL or not, there are suggestions that the RX6000 series do not.
If this is the case then the lack of OpenCL support may be the cause of the freezing.
