@LouS

You have to ensure that there is enough music that it lasts for the length of the slideshow! Clearly, you can repeat sections of the music but if you have 1000+ photos and your current music stops after about 50 slides you need a a great many more music tracks!

However, and I alluded to this in your other post, you mention that you added music from Music Maker. Exactly what music? If it is music that you have composed using the instruments within MM, that should not be a problem but if you have used any of the projects or soundpools/loops within MM you render yourself liable for claims of copyright infringement, unless you have bought the full commercial licence for each soundpool that you have used.

@emmrecs

Hi Jeff,

Not quite. The Soundpools, like all music from Magix, can be used for non-commercial purposes.

My mistake, I did not use Music Maker, I used the Song Collections - Free Songs, Classic-Brumal Promanade in Photostory Deluxe. How can I extend the length of the music for my slideshow?

emmrecs wrote on 3/24/2021, 6:11 AM

@LouS

Please re-read my original reply to you!

The only way to extend the length of the music is to either repeat earlier tracks or add more tracks.

This also applies to the the free songs in Photostory - they are for are for personal/private use only. If you are uploading the slideshow to Youtube or any other such site, or making the slideshow for commercial gain, then you need the Commercial licences for the songs used - in the case of Brumal Promenade see here.

For the Terms and Conditions of the different licences available see here.

@LouS

Hi Louis,

Please watch the Introductory tutorial and then the others. Learn how to use PhotoStory. Putting things like video clips, photos and audio files onto the timeline is the absolute most basic thing that you need to know. Open the manual and read the Quick Start chapter - then keep reviewing.

I have watched the Tutorials and read the manual and have not found out how to extend the music for the entire slide show. Just a little help here explaining how to extend the music beyond Slide 50.

As I have stated before, I have created a slideshow of 1000+ photo's and added music from Music Maker. The only problem is that the music stops after about 50 slides. How do I get the music to continue for the entire slideshow?

PATIENT-X wrote on 4/9/2021, 11:48 AM

@LouS

Hello, Welcome

You have been provided with every easy to follow instructions possible to accomplish this task within the software from the Users and Moderators.

You cannot extend or drag one track to fit timescale of 1000 photos. You either repeat your chosen track or add additional tracks to cover the timescale of 1000 photos.

As this thread is now becoming so repetitive, I have now decided to close this thread.
