slideshow altered but burns orginal one

i have altered my slideshow and re-named it i have also re-named the disc project but when i try to burn the new slide show it always burns the original one . i do not know how to change it so i always have to start a brand new slideshow/disc project so i end up doing my project 3 or 4 times and wasting blank dvds

When you burn the new, altered version of the slideshow, make sure to choose "Reencode all" when going to burn it. When you do that, the new version will be encoded and burned. Perhaps you've been choosing "Maintain all", which would burn the old, previously encoded version.
