Singing Songs

Okay, we recently bought this new computer, and it has been giving nothing but problems, but before I start using my old computer again I just have a question. Okay when I start singing my songs, I am singing in time with the music but when I play it back, it soundslike I am singing out of time with the music. I just want to know if it sounds like my microphone or is the program.

It is a common problem called "latency". This posting should clear things up for you.

It should be a simple matter of aliging the tracks in the arranger to put them in sync.

Procyon nailed it... I suspect once you fix the crackle problem you will solve your latency as well.
Seems like you might have got a bum sound card with this computer - try the free ASIO drivers mentioned or consider getting a good recording interface.
