Magix is the name of the company. Depending on what you intend to do, I would suggest Magix Movie Edit Pro Premium, on sale for 2 days, as the best value for money. It does everything that PhotoStory Deluxe does but has better editing tools and more tracks. You'll find that it is much more advanced than Roxio Photoshow.
You can download the trial version to make sure that it works on your computer. Check the recommended OS specifications.
Look at the intro tutorial on the Magix.com site to see how it works.
Just remember that you cannot import into Movie Edit Pro any projects done using Roxio Photoshow.
I meant to also ask. The slideshows I created were stored at Roxio and all I needed to do to show them on my website was to add a link to them om my site, the shows were not actually stored on my website hosting service. So what I really need are 2 things: 1. Software to build and maintain slideshows 2. A place to store them so they do not overwhelm by website hosting location.
. . . . . Software to build and maintain slideshows . . . .
Web designer can do this using any of the various Gallery widgets, there are other 3rd party programs that can also do such as jAlbum - I use this for my galleries containing images and video.
. . . . A place to store them so they do not overwhelm by website hosting location . . . .
The videos must be on the web server with the web pages.
Is there a reason why you cannot be on the server ie running low on storage space with your host or reaching the data limits (if any) set by the hosting company?
