Rendering: 16:9 -- 4:3 problem

i try to upload a video on youtube. the files are 16:9, the video is shown as 16:9 in magix. if i drop effects on certain files they are still shown as 16:9 but once the file is rendered and uploaded sometimes the movie is 4:3 instead of 16:9...
whats wrong?

I'm having a similar problem, 16:9 videos - everything is set to 16:9, but renders at 4:3 - even though the export settings say 16:9!

I just reset everything - to reset the program click on help - at the very bottom there is 'reset program setting to default'

then I reset my camera to the defaults.
I just rendered a video & it seems to be working ok now.
