VP X16. My rendered videos have audio static artifacts when transitions occur. What is going on and how do I fix it? The noise is not present on the timeline. I have rendered the segment 10 different times with different settings, but it keeps showing up. So frustrating.

Could you clarify your operating system in your signature please?
It is Windows NT or Windows 10?
You could try increasing the audio buffer settings but your processor's GPU (assuming your laptop's specs are accurate) is not supported and your ram speed which is DDR 3 may not be fast enough to load and unload the packets of data fast enough and may also be a contributing factor.
Looking at your previous posts you have several machines so is this happening on all machines or one machine?
Problems tend to be machine specific or file specific, so it is good to give us accurate information.

According to one of your previous posts you have 3 computers, please clarify the computer spec(s) in your profile to identify each machine, and use the commom name for the Windows versions eg Microsoft Windows NT 6.2.9200. is the first release of Windows 8, see my Signature for an example.
When posting, please identify which system(s) the issue is with.
