I run Rescue your Videotapes (version 7) and video easy. I am trying to cut certain clips out and am very confused by the 3 scissors and I keep destroying what I want to keep. Could somebody explain simply how I can remove bits from the video and edit it. it is mainly adverts from programs I recorded

The video help was not easy to understand and was a bit confusing. Thanks
