Remove CoreFX Easter Deals Pop-up Ads on PC

Correction:

When you install Magix software, an updater notifier to upgrade software called Magix Connect is usually automatically installed which causes these pop up ads, go to control panel, programs, programs and features and look for Magix Connect and uninstall or

Go into the Start menu -> Administrative Tools -> Task Scheduler

Click on Task Scheduler Library on the left.

Look for Magix Connect by scrolling down list and Right-click on Magix Connect then click Disable.

Do be careful which Connect you uninstall if there is one - Microsoft also have a program call Connect which you may have installed.

The program full name you are looking for had had several names

Magix Cloud Import
Update Notifier - do not uninstall the program just called Updater if you have it installed
Magix Connect - note you may have a program called Connect that is from Microsoft - do not uninstall this
Magix Network Sync

Thank you for your quick response. I couldn't find Connect in control panel or Task Scheduler. I did find, however, Update Notifier in control panel/Uninstall - Publisher MAGIX Software GmbH. BTW I did find an entry in Registry HKEY_CURRENT_USER/SOFTWARE/MAGIX/connect. That's the only reference to connect related to MAGIX. Do I uninstall the entry Update Notifier?

Yes uninstall Update Notifier.

When you uninstall software you should always remove the relevant registry entries as well.

But you should always be careful in registry in case you have other software packages under Magix for example.

Free software like Revo uninstalls software including the registry entries in advanced mode.

After the uninstall, Revo will ask you to scan for remnants left behind in registry, click okay.

I completed the uninstall and my registry cleaner did it's thing. All went well I assume; time will tell that there will be no further pop-ups. Thank you for your time and support! Much appreciated!

Do note that Magix Cloud Import/Update Notifier will be re-installed if you upgrade Photostory to a newer version - updating with patches will not re-install it.
