Red Dotted Lines

All of a sudden all the new text I type and lines I draw are red dotted lines with no fill. I have checked the line area to make sure it is not dotted, I have checked the text color for fill and line. I don't have a text style that is a red dotted line text. Furthermore, I don't see anything. Please help - I can't use this at all this way. I don't see a "view wireframe" or anything like that either.

Is it possible that you have the “Check Spelling as you type” feature enabled?

The text isn't underlined with a red dotted line the text is a red dotted line as is the line of the shapes. I have looked at the line option, and it shows a straight line with no end caps or arrows. Thank you though, any suggestion may be the answer.

Can you post a screenshot of the 'the text is a red dotted line as is the line of the shapes' - include the toolbars in the screenshot with the Text tool selected.

Do you have the Window, View Quality, set to outline?

Thanks. The normal text was done before this dotted stuff started to happen.

Select the text block and in the Page and Layer gallery drag it into the MouseOff or other display layer.
Or Ctrl+X the text block, select the required layer and Paste in Place.
