Bit of a newb question here, but am having difficulty recording MIDI on Acid Pro 10. I can play midi and select different virtual synths, but getting it to record seems more difficult than it should be. I also have Magix Music Maker and that is fairly straightforward. On Acid, I insert one MIDI track onto the timeline, arm the track and then hit record below...and while the virtual synth can be played via the MIDI interface, absolutely nothing shows up in terms of MIDI notes across the horizontal timeline axis. Can someone perhaps give me step-by-step instructions? I have the manual, looked at Youtube videos, but the MIDI track will not record.
