Quick entry box, how do I enable it?

I'm using Pro 16 plus and the quick entry box is not displayed?  I want to edit the text of an animated object and I can't.  When I double click the animated object it tells me to use the quick entry box in the title menu.  But, it's not there?  I went back to Pro 15 plus and the quick entry box is there, but I can't get it to display is Pro 16 plus?  If anyone can please share with me the super secret answer I would very much appricate it!

Thanks,

The box should show up on the preview monitor. Did you try F9 ?

In the MEP16 Premium I do a double click on the text in the monitor and the text opens for editing. Normally all text objects are automatically put in track 3, but according to my test it should also work with track 1.

Desert_Rat,

I was having this same question also with Movie Editior Pro 15 Plus for some 3D Text.

I found that after going into Settings > Display Template, and then selecting the default setup ("Standard") the "Quick Entry Box" now appears underneath the title browser window when you have a title object selected in the timeline. After you get it working you can carefully re-arrage your windows how you want them to be and the title "Quick Entry Box" should still show up... hopefully.

Attached is a screenshot.

Hope this helps.
