Publishing web page no longer working

I am using Xara web designer7.0. It no longer will publish. says timed out. Will an upgrade fix this. I already contacted my web hosting servive and got a new password. I can get on with their file management software but not with my Xara vers. 7.o.

Has your hosting provider updated the FTP protocols required to upload?

Assuming you are not using Xara Online then try changing the option shown below to FTPS if it is not already set.

If the option is not available then either:

Upgrade Web Designer to the latest version (19), I would suggest installing the trial first - check the folder location where the project is installed is not going to overwrite v7 and then ensure that it can open the old project file and save it with a new name.
Use the Export website option to a folder of your choice and then use an FTP program such as FileZilla to upload to your host.

The second method is the one I use, as you can check the site for errors before uploading - double click the index.html file.
