Publish web site / replacing for new template

yuri_torres10 wrote on 6/5/2016, 7:07 AM

Good day, I've already published my website with magix under my domain. I used one of the templates provided by Xara web site designer MX (v8). So far so good. Now I made a new web site with another template sample from Xara and I wanna use this last instead of the previous one using the same domain. In other words, I wanna remove my existing website template  and replace it  by my new website template sample. If I just export & publish the last one would be ok ? Is it gonna replace the first one ?

Thanks,

Yuri

Hi Yuri,

It would be best to login using the Xara Online Control Centre and delete eveything or you would end up with many files sitting there that are not used or required. Trying to delete them later would be messy. Do you know how to do this.?

Thanks, I am gonna follow your advice. I am in the Xara Online control centre but I don't see what option allows me to remove everything. If you can give me a clue I would appreciate.

Hi Yuri,

Sorry, I posted from my tablet and should have given you more details.

In the Control Center, click on "Open webspace." This will give you access to the folders. In the right hand screen, you can click on the empty box beside the folders, then open the menu by clicking on the 3 big dots at the right and select delete.

Note that you can also upload files directly to a folder here.

Let me know if you still have problems.
