PS2017 - "Requires effects reset" - cant this dialog offer to reset?

If you have applied effects to a photo, then try some other action that requires adding other effects - the app prompts "photo already has effects. Please reset this before applying these effects." (or something like that).  Cant the pop-up dialog offer a "Replace old effects with new" - to save having to find the reset (buried in a sub-menu!) or the keyboard short-cut and the repeat the action you wanted?

And to help all this.. Please could objects that have effects be marked with an 'fx' symbol - and if you hover over the symbol it could summarise what the effect is?

Hi

If you work in timeline mode then you can see which objects have effects applied - they will be shown next to the name of the object on the timeline.

Ah - I zoom right in and yes, some indication of effects do indeed show to the right of the file name... Though this is not true of all effects - like image border effects. Nor does it say the name of the collage/border..etc effect.

Its a shame.

And it still does not offer a 'replace effect' option.  Good in places, is the best I can say for this.
