Hi

Has this worked before and suddenly something changed or has this never worked?

MEP14 is not known to be compatible with Windows 7 - it may work however some functionality is lost - in this case, as a few other users are reporting for other early versions of MEP with Win 7 or 8 , the loss of the DVD burner.

More details on your computer system ie is it a new system on which you have installed MEP, have you upgraded an existing XP installation to Win 7 would help.

Hi

I think the problem is as I previously suggested - MEP 14 works but you lose the DVD burner.

As a check download the trial version of MEP 2013 and install this - you do not need to remove MEP 14 as they install to different folders.

Try a small test project and if it burns OK  then it may be time to upgrade.

Tip:  If you do not already do this - use rewriteable DVD's or BD's for the initial burn of any project, you can erase and reuse them if the project has to be changed before committing to a write once disc.

Saves you money and you don't get a load of coffee coasters.
