Problems with the soft synths on MusicMaker17Premium

The soft synths (midi) get stuck all the time in MM17Premiumn. I've run "Repair" but they still don't work. What could be the problem?

Unfortunately you don't mention anything about your hardware... operation system... programms running in the back... and so on.

Would be very helpful to answer your question... and no guessing.

I've got Windows Vista.
