Hi. Have you tried this? Click on 'HELP' at the top of the program window, and then, from the drop-down Menu, look for/select either "Free Download" or "Install extra programs".. This is often the place to find any additional software included &/or offered with the program. Good luck! Ray (Tooley)
Once you have installed all of the add-ins by going to Help, Download instruments &sounds, and installing all of the ones one the list, the Independence plugin will be partially installed. Note the Independence is on the list. Afterwards, you have to open Independence somehow. I found it by accident. I think I found it in the MR-64 after clicking on the scrollbar at the top beside 1+2, Instrument Outputs and selecting Independence. This opened the program and it asked right away if I wanted to install the content. The list of the 12Gb came up and I selected all of them. I am presently waiting for them to install. It takes quite a while, a couple of hours.

i m not sure what you talking about ... how do i get the mr-64 .. im still a novice at using Samplitude ,,... as i am a self educated music composer and maker ... please explain more ... if possible link a pic ty
I put together text and info to get the add-ins. Once you get in, remember that there are Help manuals for both Music Studio and Independence.
1. Open SMS2013 and you should see a welcome screen that says "Before you start." Click on "Free sound pack!"
2. This brings up the install screen. Check all of the boxes and then the button "Continue" at the bottom of the screen. It will probably take an hour to install everything. Note that "Independence" is one of the components that will be installed. The content for Independence will be installed later.
Alternatively, you can open "Help" in the top menu and click on "Download instruments & sounds" to do the same thing.
3. Once installed, continue into the program. Then open "View" from the top menu bar. The second on the pop-down list should be "Multitrack recorder (MR64)." Click on it and the MR64 will appear. Near the top of MR64 you will see a row of repeating buttons "SFX" and "DYN." Just below the "DYN" there are 2 pop down buttons. Click on the upper one and you will see a menu. Scroll down with the mouse pointer to "VSTi" and a second fly-out menu will appear. You should see a list that starts with "MAGIX: Vita." Select "MAGIX: Independence."
4. If you see a screen entitled "Routing for Multi Channel….." select one of the options, and click on "OK" at the bottom.
5. Independence starts to open and you may get a message "For software instruments realtime monitoring you have to activate the following options:" Ignore this for now and click on "OK."
6. Independence should now be open and it should ask to download the libraries. If so, do so. This will take a couple of hours to get the 12Gb of content. If not, you will have to search around in "Preferences" to see if something pops up to get the download. I received a message from Magix as to how to download the libraries after I managed to do it by searching around. They also indicated that "If you are running security software such as Anti-Virus it may be possible this would block the process. In such a case a reinstall from scratch would be needed with the security software disabled."
