Hello. I have a problem with video playback in photostory deluxe version 20.0.1.62.
Video files are played by every program on my laptop and after importing to photostory I hear a voice but the image is dark. reinstallation did not help. I tested on avi, mp4, m4v, mts files - none of them work in photostory but all work on a computer. pictures are working properly
computer is laptop dell intel core I7 2GHz 8GBram, win 7 (64), HD Graphics 4000 + radeon 8730M

@lukas13

Hi

Try turning off the the options in the program settings shown below

Do note installing on Windows 7 is not supported, this may give other issues.

unfortunately - disabling the option did not work.
everything was working before, so I think some Magix update has introduced a problem.
I have old installation files - will try to install the program again without updating - maybe it will help.

Hi

Thanks for the feedback.

It is odd that with that option off, it did not work. The program should have reverted to 'software encoding using the CPU only.

This may be a sign of Windows 7 incompatibility.

Happy editing
