Problem with creating a diasshow without problems

karlev wrote on 11/19/2020, 12:14 PM

I have a periodic issue with Magix Photostory Deluxe. I have made a slide show and when I burn it to DVD this happens during the show:

Shows picture 1 then go to picture 2, then the program jumps back to picture 1 and then jump to picture 3 and continues. This happens periodically and can occur several times during a slide show.

What's going wrong and how to fix it?

Hi,

Zoom in on the timeline, and go to the beginning.

Also, on the Burn screen, turn on Edit so that we can see the list of Movies/Chapters.

Hi,

I don't know what you've done, but it looks like you've created Chapters for your photos. Why?

And then you've selected only some photos to be Chapters.

Please, use Timeline mode, not Storyboard mode. Give us screen shots.

Create Chapters only when you want a Chapter to show up in the Burn screen/DVD. Get rid of all of those Chapters. A Chapter means that someone will want to watch only that part of the video/slideshow, starting where the Chapter marker is located.

I do not quite understand your comment. By chapters, do you mean that the project is divided into several slideshows? It is on purpose. It is also correct that I do not use all images, but that they are sorted. It has not given problem until now. I have been using different versions of Magix since 2007
