Please help! I have no sound!

Hi,
I recently bought Movie edit pro 15 and when I upload a video from my Panasonic SD video camera I am having trouble with the sound. If I drop the video into the screen in the top left corner, the sound and video play fine but as soon as I put it in the storyboard to edit the sound disappears. What am I doing wrong? If I double click on the file I am importing, it goes straight onto the storyboard and has no sound. Can't edit anything until I get this sorted.

Please, please help! It's driving me crazy!!

Use the timeline mode of the Movie Edit Pro... When you drag a video into the arrangement, it should show you the video track, and directly below, the audio track.

Make sure you see both, if you do, use the space bar to start the playback, if you have sound then, great. if you don't... then maybe we need to find out what format the camera is capturing the material in, perhaps Movie Edit Pro can play back the sound but not read the data of the sound file for editing. That would mean seeing if the camera manufacture has a separate codec that needs installed.
